Here's a short list of links on various knots, if you're so inclined, to explore them and learn something new. There are also quite a few books on the subject, check you local library, bookstore, or do an online search for 'decorative knots'. For some really advanced stuff, check out the Internationa Guild of Knot Tyers, The things I've made here on my blog are really more for a 'beginner'. I'm one of those people that prefers to learn a little about a lot of things as opposed to going all out on one subject.

And below are a few books I've learned from. These have pretty good diagrams and/or photos to help with learning.  Amazon.com usually has these in stock. 'The Ashley Book of Knots' is the ultimate as far as knot references go, but I don't recommend it for starting out with learning some knots.  Explore the online learning resources first, maybe your local library, and then invest in the books if you're seriously interested.

'oops' 'oh no!' moment.  Some of the photos from those posts might be found on other forums or message boards that I had also posted to, if they were uploaded to those posts, but any linked images were lost.  Tip:  Make back-ups of your back-ups, save to discs or other storage media, as well as online storage, but since some blogs, forums, and websites do disappear, I wouldn't depend on those alone.  And hard drives do crash, so....
