Spool knit 'Type I' paracord necklace and skull pendant

'Type I' OD green paracord braided necklace with a break-away lanyard connector. I added a Punisher skull pendant I bought from one of the knifemakers at the Blade Show a couple of weeks ago. I used just over 20 feet of cord to make the 24 inch long necklace using a 3 peg/nail knitting spool with the nails spaced about 1 inch apart.

The 'Type I' paracord is from the Supply Captain's website and the break-away connectors are from Lighthound. Links on the right side of the blog. For the smaller type one core, you'll need a smaller spool than the napkin ring one used for the larger 550 paracord. If you make a smaller spool, keep the 3 pegs/nails about 3/4 to 1 inch apart from each other to get a good braid with the smaller 1/16" cord.

I don't suppose you have an ongoing source for those punisher skulls?

One of the knifemakers at the Blade Show had a few on their table. You might check ebay for similar 'Punisher' pendants.

Do you have a how-to on this one? I like the design, but I'm kinda new to this and I can't figure out how you did it.

I don't have a 'how-to' for the necklace since it's just basic 3 peg spool knitting. I have other examples spread out in my blog pages and a short YouTube video showing how to start on with a 3 peg spool.
