Pile of lanyards...

An accumulation of recent knot tyings, paracord wrist lanyards and whatnot...

What keeps you motivated? I don't tend to create any knotwork unless there's a need/request...

Thanks,

@Tom W, I find knot work to be meditative. It can be relaxing to work with a puzzle of knotwork sometimes.

I try not to do too much where my hands sometimes bother me, or to the point of feeling burnt out on it. If I get frustrated with trying to tie something, I can just put it aside and/or take a break from tying. I rarely go more than a few weeks without tying something.

I tend to stick with easier types of knotting projects, but there's always more to learn and variations on things to play around with if I get bored.

Thanks, I know what you mean about the meditative effect.

I enjoy the blog!

I was just looking at my own pile of lanyards and monkey fists and thought, "I must be crazy." While I still think that, at least I'm in good company. Thanx for the posts, they inspire me to my own meditation.
