Lanyard knot paracord cross with ring...

As mentioned in the previous blog post, you can add a split/key ring to other knotted cross variations, and this example is done with the lanyard knot using gutted paracord and a 1" diameter ring.

I have the ring set in between the knots, but you could also tie the knots around the rings if using un-gutted paracord, or other sizes/types of cordage and rings...

Shown attached to my CRKT Nirk Novo, and although there's no dedicated lanyard hole, a lanyard/fob will fit in the handle cutouts and the unusual lock mechanism still functions.

And a couple more variations, one made using un-gutted paracord with the cross knot and a 1" ring, and another done with two-strand wall knots(ABoK#775)...

Paracord Crown Sinnet Circle Cross...

I still have a quite a few two foot lengths of paracord scraps leftover from the 'Paracord Canteen Cover', so I sat down to tie a cross with some of them.

For this one I integrated a split ring/keyring(about 1" diameter), covered with a gutted section of paracord(as I did with the dreamcatchers a few years ago), to add a circle/ring to this round crown sinnet paracord cross.

The same could certainly be done with the many other knotted paracord cross variations, to add in a circle/ring like some Celtic design crosses have.

A more elaborate version might be possible with a star grommet worked in, or a long Turk's head knot done around the ring, or smaller ones made around the exposed sections.

And maybe try using a larger ring along with a smaller one worked in with one cross for a double ringed look.

I'll have to check the hardware store for some solid thin gauge rings, that won't cause as much deformation of the crown sinnet as the thicker key/split rings do.  Maybe something in copper/brass that would look nice with the paracord...

The 'Beanstalk Bar' Paracord Watchband...

I tied this 'Beanstalk Bar' paracord watchband earlier today, following JD's(TIAT)YouTube video tutorial for the pattern.

I tied the watchband with a 5/8" side release buckle, instead of knot and loop closure, and used a single strand of olive drab paracord of around 9 feet for a finished 8.5" long band.

My Timex Reef Gear watch continues to be a great platform for tying paracord watchbands and it's proven to be a reliable timepiece for over 12 years now.

I think I'll also try to tying a 'Beanstalk Bar' as a lanyard or fob for my fixed blade Kershaw Field Knife, to aid in retrieval from the sheath and grip retention in hand...

And shown done with a leftover two foot length of paracord for a 2" long fob, with the ends tucked back  under the knot work on one side to finish.
