Your method of sliding the hitch down and around the ring as opposed to threading the end through the loop after putting it through the ring completely solves this. It's one of those amazingly simple things, but one I could not figure out until seeing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17884734.post-64921645077472831892011-10-24T00:18:55.726-04:002011-10-24T00:18:55.726-04:00Same anonymous as before..
Just thinking about it ...Same anonymous as before..
Just thinking about it some more, you could do this post-knotwork by wrapping the bight through the split ring and around the standing end, and then working the single strand of the bight through the "layers" of the split ring. ^_^ Hope that makes sense. Love the blog, SD!

AcercantoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17884734.post-14134603223199274852011-10-23T20:28:39.361-04:002011-10-23T20:28:39.361-04:00Thanks for the idea. I find myself using knots like this on a fairly regular basis.Danhttp://bladereviews.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17884734.post-91848705394116038182011-10-23T17:20:49.590-04:002011-10-23T17:20:49.590-04:00Neat!
