Ball bearing fist lanyard with sinnet and skull topper...

I call this a 'skull knocker' lanyard/fob. The monkey fist has a 5/8" chrome steel ball bearing in the center for a little weight, round sinnet set above the fist, small pewter skull bead, and a hangman's noose for attachment to a knife, flashlight, or keychain.

*Note: ABoK #1863 has probably been the inspiration for this type design for many knot tyers, of a Turk's Head or Monkey's Fist knot with a sinnet and loop. The drawing for that one is actually showing a couple of ways to loop onto a ring, with the lanyard/fob used as an example.

Tight fit lanyard/fob loop pull assistance...

Some lanyard holes on knives can be a tight fit for a loop of paracord, so I use a piece of string, dental floss, or fishing line to help pull the lanyard loop thru the knife's lanyard hole as shown in this sequence of photos.
