I've not done any larger projects like a hammock. Net type knot work applies to that type of project and other things like a cargo net for a pick-up truck bed.
@Anonymous, the silver lighter is just a regular Zippo lighter body with the normal flint insert removed and replaced with a Z-plus butane lighter insert, which can be found on ebay, amazon.com, etc.. ;)

hello, in reference to the cigarette lighter with the 1.4mm turks head, where can i find the black 1.4mm cord? thank you
I got mine from 'mowfugger' on ebay, link in my blogs links list.
You can also use mini blind cord/string. Multiple sources can be found thru google, with various sizes and colors.
I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING THE "6 LEAD" PART, I CAN SEE THE '5 BIGHT' BUT NOT SEEING 6 ANYWHERE IN THIS,
@LUKE, Here's a 'Knots 101' from KHWW.net that may help you with seeing the bights and leads/parts of a Turk's head knot. ;)
Hi SD, great knot work. What is that silver lighter and where can you get it?
