Flat Braided Lanyard...

I tied a 3 strand flat braid with the three pairs(6 ends) for about 18 inches(also shown in 'The Book of Decorative Knots' by Peter Owen), looping one pair around the Niteize S-Biner, and tying a lanyard knot with the other two pairs with the pair from the S-Biner up through the middle of that knot before tightening.

Then taking the pair from the S-Biner and one of the other pairs to tie a second lanyard knot, which secured the loop pair, with the remaining pair through the center of that knot. And finally tying a third lanyard knot with two pairs, then the remaining pair through the center of that knot, and trimmed/tucked all the ends.
This one may work for use as a wallet lanyard, or for a pocket knife, flashlight, multitool, or maybe a pocket watch...
Another flat braided lanyard tied with 2.4mm nylon cord, and used some doubled up snake knots on one end. The nifty little Victorinox Swiss Army Knife is an Orange Alox Rambler.

Braided Leather Lanyard...

Tied a 4 strand round braid for about 14 inches, made a single crown sinnet at the end of the round braid, putting the Niteize S-Biner through the crown sinnet.
Then continued the crown sinnet back up around the round braid for about 1.5 inches and finished with a crown and wall knot, tucking the ends back down into the knot before trimming off the excess.
The Swiss Army knife is a Wenger Evogrip 18.
I'd done another with paracord last year, but figured one in leather would be a little different...

Paracord and Leather Turks Head Knot Firesteel Fob/Lanyard...

I tied a Celtic button knot on one end and worked the firesteel down against it.

I then tied a 17 lead 4 bight turks head knot of a single pass, with round 2mm dark brown leather over the paracord covered firesteel. Added a copper colored bead(from Hobby Lobby) and tied a scaffold/multiple overhand sliding knot to finish.

The pocket knife is a Victorinox Tinker. My previous post with with firesteel fobs/lanyards is linked here.
Here's a couple of the firesteels with a single strand of paracord in a two bight turks head knot, using less than 2 feet of paracord. To be worn as a pendant on a chain, a zipper pull, or added to a key ring.

And one using 3 feet of paracord as a lanyard for a Swiss Army knife...
