
These are mini compass lanyards that I made with 5 feet of paracord in the Solomon bar/cobra stitch/Portuguese sinnet pattern, tied in various colors with a swivel clip.
They can be used as a paracord keychain fob or clipped to a backpack as a backup compass for camping, hiking, backpacking, or just to every day carry as you make your way around town.
The inexpensive compasses work fine, but if you prefer a higher grade compass, the Suunto Clipper compasses can be used instead.
The paracord could be untied and come in handy for something like repairing a broken shoestring or bootlace, or a temporary fix for a broken backpack strap or whatnot...
