Double monkey's fists made with with a single strand of maroon paracord. Marbles with close to 1" diameter were used for the centers, one was slightly larger than the other, but I was still able to do both with four turns each.
As seen here, I've used it as a bookmark, leaving enough room between the fists to fit a book.

Do you recall how much cord you used for this project? Dave
I probably started with at least 10 to 12 feet, needing extra cord for slack when tying the fists. The actual amount used in the finished project is probably half that. But you can do this project without cutting a length to work with and just tie a monkey fist at the end of a hank of cord, then tie the next fist at about 10.5 inches after that one, then cut the cord, and that will prevent any wasted cord.
