@capnklump, That paracord was sold as 'maroon' and 'burgandy' colors. I've not bought any of that for years, it was purchased from various sources, and the current offerings shown online look a bit different, but can't say for sure without seeing them in hand...
petmjohn, We're alright, thanks. The leash was tied with a 4strand round braid, also called a diamond braid with the two color pattern shown, started from two centered strands at the clip end, folded the wrist loop back beside itself, and finished with whipping.
Ideally, I think splicing would be the most secure finish, with maybe a Turk's head knot over that, but a wall or crown sinnet would also look ok to finish...
Supply Captain carries Crimson, but they call it Burgandy. They also carry a version of that color with reflective tracers running through it (so it'll throw out a glow if hit with headlights/flashlight). Bama
