Paracord watchband with a side release buckle

I made a tutorial for the paracord watchband. I've added a photo tutorial on a blog page for it and one with more details on the instructables website.

beautiful work! which book would you recommend for the absolute beginner? I really like your lanyards and fobs.

There are plenty of online resources to keep one busy, but if you want a book, try 'The Book of Decorative Knots' by Peter Owen.

Nice tutorial, both here and on instructables. Just out of curiosity, you don't happen to work with computers for a living? Your pictures, blog and instructables are well put together and I thought you might. Anyway, again nice work!

Thanks. I've been playing games on computers since the early 1980's, but have never had a job working with them. I took the photos, but the Blogger and Instructables software make them easy to work with.

do u know of a way to do this but instead of the side release buckle using a button like that off a camo jacket

Since it starts out just like a cobra stitch paracord bracelet, you can make it without the side release buckles by just not looping it onto anything when you start and sewing on a BDU button onto the double loop end and the single loop end will attach to it. Here's a link showing the bracelet with a button, pics at the bottom.

I used a 1/2" curved side release buckle.
